One of the benefits of this is, as the SRC-2’s drivers move to push air / create sound, the enclosure isn’t absorbing this energy, dulling or smearing the sound. Another benefit of the Acora enclosure is that it does not need internal bracing to “stiffen” the enclosure. This means that internal cross bracing is not required. No internal bracing means no additional reflections inside the enclosure that will vibrate the low frequency drivers.
The SRC-2 utilizes world-class drivers and a hand-built crossover network, however the real secret to the Acora Sound, is that you only hear these, not the enclosure.

Custom Built for the SRB, the award winning SRS Stands offer the mass and rigidity to take advantage of the SRB's natural granite enclosure. They certainly offer advantages to any other stand mount loudspeaker however they were specifically designed to bring out the best in the SRBs.
The SRS stands are offered with either Granite (SRS-G) or Metal (SRS-M) uprights. The horizontal plates of both models are made of natural granite with a high polish, mirror finish. Both models come standard with black aluminum footers and multiple spiking options to get the best sound on nearly any type flooring.
Gold colored aluminum footers are available as an option.
